Proper storage temperature: Store avocados at around 5°C to slow down ripening and extend shelf life. Avoid storing them in the refrigerator below 40°F (4°C) as this can cause damage to avocado.
Ventilation: Ensure good air circulation around the avocados by not overcrowding them on the shelves, this helps prevent moisture buildup.
Temperature fluctuations: Avoid sudden temperature changes, as they can cause avocados to ripen unevenly.
Avoidance of ethylene exposure: Keep avocados away from ethylene-producing fruits such as bananas, apples, and tomatoes, as ethylene can accelerate ripening and spoilage

Substitute of butter: Avocado can be a healthier substitute for butter or oil in baking. Use mashed avocado in place of butter in recipes like brownies or muffins for a creamy texture and added nutrients.
Natural food coloring: Use mashed avocado as a natural food coloring. It can add a vibrant green hue to dishes like frosting, smoothies, or even pasta dough.
Facial mask: Avocado is not just for eating—it can also be used in a DIY facial mask. Mix mashed avocado with honey and lemon juice for a moisturizing and brightening face mask.
